I (Andrew) met with Taylormade Furniture in 2007 wanting to change all Kapiti Coast Funeral Home caskets from MDF to sustainable pine.
Over the next 12 months, together we developed, a range of caskets, from the simple pine to the most beautifully crafted, polished and stained caskets.
This now means that families always have natural and eco-friendly choices when saying goodbye to a loved one.
Part of arranging a funeral is looking through a selection of coffins or caskets to select one that reflects the personality of your loved one, and their wishes.
At the Kapiti Coast Funeral Home we’re passionate about giving families the choice of quality crafted and sustainable eco-caskets, available at affordable price points.
Crafted with the environment in mind, many of our caskets are suitable for “traditional” burial or cremation, but also meet the criteria for natural burials: minimising environmental impact; reducing carbon emissions, and preserving natural habitats.
Sourced from sustainable harvested Radiata Pine, our range includes simple and natural to ornate and bespoke.
