I have worked at Kapiti Coast Funeral Home for nearly 7 years, having a go at all aspects of the industry.
I have worked with the headstones, managed the catering, receptionist, and funeral assistant, and finally found my passion in helping families as a funeral director.
My family finds it odd that I want to work in this industry when we have had so much death in our family. But what stayed with me was my very first tour through Kapiti Coast Funeral Home, the care and love that was shown to the deceased, just made me hope that my mum and dad were treated with the same love and respect when they passed away. I find it a huge honour to be there and take care of families at this challenging and sometimes stressful time. I am currently sitting my Diploma in Funeral Directing with only 3 more papers to go, I live in Sunny Otaki and I have 3 beautiful daughters, 2 gorgeous grandsons, and 2 fur babies.
