Rodney has lived on the Kapiti Coast since 1990.
He joined the Kapiti Coast Funeral Home in 2008, working part-time as an after-hours staff member.
This then led to a full-time position as an embalmer, gained his National Certificate in Embalming in 2013. From there he was promoted to Mortuary Manager.
Rodney is proud of the role the embalmer plays in the funeral service and thinks upholding the dignity and preserving a positive memory of a loved one is vital to the grieving process.
Outside of work, he loves to tick off all the great walks that New Zealand has to offer.
