I’ve been working at Kapiti Coast Funeral Home for almost 7 years, gaining experience in all aspects of the industry. I’ve been involved with headstones, managed catering, worked as a receptionist and funeral assistant, and ultimately discovered my passion as a funeral director.
My family finds it strange that I chose to work in this industry, considering the amount of death we’ve experienced in our family. However, what stuck with me was my first tour through Kapiti Coast Funeral Home. The care and love shown to the deceased made me hope that my parents were treated with the same love and respect when they passed away. It’s a great honor for me to be there for families during this challenging and sometimes stressful time. I’m currently pursuing my Diploma in Funeral Directing, with only 3 more papers to go. I live in Sunny Otaki and am a mother of 3 beautiful daughters, with 2 gorgeous grandsons and 2 fur babies.
