We are a locally owned funeral home, the only one on the Kapiti Coast.
Owned and operated by Andrew & Merryn Malcolm since 1992.

Hi, we’re Andrew and Merryn, owners of the Kapiti Funeral Home since 1992.
Our philosophy on funeral care is simple;
“Whatever needs doing, we are there for you”.
“We are there to support you and journey with you through the funeral process, by focusing on care for the deceased and for the family grieving”.
Our office is at 9-11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu
While we have a call team on duty 24/7 to answer the phone and available to be called out, our full team is in the office Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, and Saturday mornings between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm.
Off-street parking is available.
To ensure we have total care for our client families, we have associated companies close at hand, including Kapiti Monumental Services, Kapiti Crematorium, Kapiti Katering, and Kapiti Loss and Grief Centre Trust. We are members of professional bodies, including the Funeral Directors Association of New Zealand, which has strict professional standards
Our goal of ‘total care’ stems from a genuine desire to help and provide complete support for the bereaved family, eliminating as much of the stress as possible at the time of the farewell gathering and in the days beyond (through our free bereavement support services at the Kapiti Loss & Greif Centre). Whenever you phone, whatever the time, a staff member will be available to answer your call.
We are members of professional bodies including the Funeral Directors Association of New Zealand,

Whenever you phone, whatever the time, a staff member will be available to answer your call.
