Andrew Malcolm, owner and Managing Director of Kapiti Coast Funeral Home, the longest established Funeral Home in Kapiti, has now been in

business 32 years. Andrew has owned the business since 1992, when he purchased a failing sole trader business and rebranded. Andrew now has 8 full time staff and several part timer staff. He has several subsidiary companies including Kapiti Crematorium, Kapiti Katering, Kapiti Monumental Services and founding chair of the Kapiti Loss & Grief Charitable Trust. Andrew is also the National President of the Funeral Directors association of NZ, of which 80% of all funeral Homes belong. Kapiti Coast Funeral Home is the largest of the 3 Funeral Homes in Kapiti and is the only that is not corporately owned.

The current building is undergoing a major upgrade, with the chapel and reception lounge now complete, all are warmly invited to come see, enjoy some refreshments, ask questions and look around.
